Matt Spencer is a conservation ecologist with a PdD from the University of Sheffield, UK and BsC in Ecology from the University of Leeds, UK. Dr. Spencer has over 80 published articles with over 2500 citations. Today he is a lecturer in quantitative biology in the School of Environmental Sciences at the University of Liverpool, UK. During his time at Applied Biomathematics, Dr. Spencer developed commercial Monte Carlo software which can be used to assess the effects of pollutants on ecological systems.
