RAMAS GIS 4.0 / Metapop 4.0 Update 

Instructions for downloading and installing the update:

1. Make sure that RAMAS Metapop 4.0 or RAMAS GIS 4.0 is already installed on the computer.
2. Find out the folder (directory) where the program was originally installed (e.g., C:\Program files\RAMASGIS or C:\Program files\Metapop).
3. Check and record the filedate of the file Metapop.exe in the program folder:
   • If the filedate is between 1 April 2002 and 31 January 2003, download the update file as instructed below.
   • If the filedate is before April 2002, you have a previous version and this update will not work; you have to upgrade to version 4.0.
   • If the filedate is after January 2003, you need not continue; you already have the updated program.
4. Download one of the following files:
   • RG4update1.exe for RAMAS GIS 4.0 (825 Kb), or
   • MP4update1.exe for RAMAS Metapop 4.0 (546 Kb);
   and save it in a folder in the computer where RAMAS GIS or RAMAS Metapop is installed.
5. Run the file you downloaded by double-clicking on it, and follow the instructions.
6. If the update installation does not find the correct program folder, make sure to specify the program folder (from step 2 above).
