By airplane to Islip, Long Island
MacArthur Airport (ISP) is about
a twenty minute ride away from our Setauket office. Call us at 631-751-4350 and
we'll arrange to pick you up. There are also car rental, taxi and
limousine services available at the airport.
By airplane to New York
From
Kennedy (JFK),
LaGuardia (LGA) or
Newark (EWR) airports, we recommend
you use a car service to bring you to Setauket. The trip usually takes 2 hours,
but may be longer during rush hour. Fares are commonly between $40 and
$95 depending on the carrier and type of transportation you use, shared-ride or
door-to-door service. Several carriers are available. We have used
Classic and Winston 631-924-1200 for
share rides in the past. From JFK, you can also take
AirTrain to Jamaica Station and
train (see below) to Stony Brook station.
By automobile
From New York City, take
the Long Island Expressway (LIE, I-495) to Exit 62N, Nicolls Road. Head
north on Nicolls Road (Route 97) towards Stony Brook. Take Nicolls to the
very end, it dead-ends at Route 25A. Make a right turn onto 25A and then
a left turn at the first traffic light. This is North Country Road.
We are one block down, on the left-hand side, in an orange wood building,
just past Thompson Hay Path.

By train
From Amtrak's hub at Penn
Station in New York City, take the Port Jefferson line of the
Long Island Rail Road
(LIRR) to the Stony Brook station. Call us at 631-751-4350 so that we can
pick you up when you arrive.
By ferry
Take the
Bridgeport-Port Jefferson Ferry to Long
Island. If you're not driving, call us at 631-751-4350 so that we can pick you
up at the Port Jefferson ferry. If you are driving, take Route 25A east
about 2.5 miles to Setauket. You'll pass several shopping centers and the
East Setauket post office. At the bottom of a small hill, at a traffic
light, you'll turn right onto North Country Road. (Incongruously, Bennetts Road
is the left turn. If you see Domino's Pizza, you've gone too far.)
We are one block down North Country Road, on the left-hand side, in a
gray wood building, just past Thompson Hay Path.
By private boat
It's most convenient
to dock at the Port Jefferson Yacht Club (631-473-9864). Space may also
be available at the Stony Brook Yacht Club (631-751-9873). Call us at
631-751-4350 to pick you up at the dock.
